The school teaches Relationship and Sex Education in accordance with national guidelines.
The school aims to provide opportunities for pupils to develop the skills, knowledge and
understanding they need to lead confident, healthy independent lives and become both
informed and active citizens. We take steps to ensure that Relationship and Sex education is
taught in such a manner as to encourage children to have due regard to moral considerations
and the value of family life.
Any parent who feels unsure about the content of this part of the curriculum is encouraged
to speak to their child9s class teacher. It is possible to withdraw your child from this element
of the curriculum by prior arrangement with the Head of School.
