ALLY 101:
AN ANTI-RACIST INTRODUCTION
WEBINAR TRAINING
ONLINE / FREE (Booking essential)

The presence of oppression in a person’s life doesn’t mean
they are exempt from oppressing others. It is well known that
‘the scene’ is rife with racism.
Research by Stonewall found that 61% of Black LGBT people
have experienced discrimination from other LGBT people.
We have invited The Goddess Projects to deliver their Ally
101 workshop for Homotopia’s community to learn, grow
and better equip ourselves to tackle racism. The workshop
includes defining racism, anti-racism and allyship, exploring
Whiteness, White fragility and the weaponization of
Whiteness, and much more.
The Goddess Projects is a Liverpool-based community
organisation with a mission to empower, inspire and assist
black women and women of colour to develop and achieve
within their communities.
