Bearwood Lakes - 2017 Brochure - Page 7

Unique And Steeped In History
Originally within the grounds of Windsor Great Park,
the Bearwood estate has formed part of the hunting
grounds for the Kings of England since the 11th
century.
Whilst the wild bears and boars have long gone, it
still forms the natural habitat for magnificent deer
and wildlife roaming the grounds.
Although the course only opened in 1996, the
forest terrain and woodland has evolved over
centuries, creating one of the most inspiring golfing
environments to be found anywhere in the world.
