Ohio State football is always a force to
be reckoned with. When autumn comes
to Columbus, the Ohio State University
campus is filled with die-hard fans ready
to cheer on their team to victory. The
Buckeyes play at Ohio Stadium,
otherwise known as the “Horseshoe,”
and are part of the Big Ten East Division.
Make sure to catch a game, you’ll be
glad you did!
Short North
Arts District
As the “art and soul” of Columbus,
the Short North is a vibrant
cultural and business community.
The nationally acclaimed Gallery
Hop is held on the first Saturday of
the month. Go on a self-led tour on
the Short North Arts Trail.
Located in the heart of downtown Columbus, the Scioto Mile is an urban oasis comprised of more
than 175 acres of lush parkland. Stretching along the waterfront from the vibrant Arena District to
the natural beauty of the Whittier Peninsula, our riverfront parks connect downtown to the Scioto
River through an integrated system of parks, boulevards, bikeways and pedestrian paths. This is a
great spot to take a stroll and enjoy both the city and nature.

Bicentennial Park
Bicentennial Park hosts free concerts on
summer weekends, and a huge set of
fountains create a fun environment for
kids to play in during the daylight hours.
By night, sip a local cocktail or grab a
burger at Milestone 229 and watch the
fountain displays change through the
evening.
Columbus Museum of Art (CMA)
creates great experiences with great art
for everyone. This museum, designed by
a local architect, features gallery space for
the museum’s permanent collection, and
a bright area for special exhibitions. An

free hours, the Ohio Statehouse is
a great place to spend an afternoon
and see your tax dollars at work.
The Ohio Statehouse is open for
visitors during regular hours. Free
guided tours are offered weekdays
on the hour from 10am - 3pm and
on weekends from noon - 3pm.
