2020 In 2020, Liontrust’s Sustainability and Stewardship Committee was
established and chaired by CEO John Ions.
2021 Liontrust won three major group awards in the same year:
Group of the Year at Investment Week’s Fund Manager of
the Year Awards; Asset Manager of the Year at the Financial
News Asset Management Awards; and Best Fund Group at
the Shares Awards
2022 Global Fundamental team joins through Majedie Asset
Management acquisition
2022 The Sustainability and Stewardship committee was renamed the
Responsible Capitalism Committee and in 2023 was chaired by
the Head of Responsible Capitalism.
2022 Liontrust acquired Majedie Asset Management and renamed
the investment team the Global Fundamental Team (“GFT”).
This team undertakes materiality assessments (which include the
assessment of ESG related exposures) as part of its investment
process, thereby fulling integrating ESG considerations into the
investment decisions.
