WELCOME CLUB
I
t’s nice to be back. In this digital edition of
Loddon Reach magazine, we can still catch up,
and look at the way forward.
Firstly, I do hope you are all well and are managing
to dodge the Covid-19.
If you are lucky enough to have a garden and can
look after it yourself, or have someone to help
you, aren’t they wonderful this year! It’s almost
as if gardens knew we would be using them more.
With very few jets flying overhead and very little
traffic, we can enjoy the birdsong at its best. God’s
creation lifts our spirits.
We must not get too smug, but doing as we have
been told, as much as we might not like it, is
paying off. We will have to wait and see whether
we can meet again for our lunch in September. In
the meantime, keep safe, keep well and keep in
touch.

All meetings have, of course, been cancelled, even

ST MARY’S BABIES AND TODDLERS
A
s I write this in May, there’s still no sign
of our happy gang being able to meet up
in person.
In the last issue, I focussed on craft ideas, so
I thought I’d look at another activity we enjoy
together each week: singing! After free play
each Friday, we sit in our circle to enjoy healthy
snacks and sing our favourite action songs

are
some ideas
for singing together at home:
Some online nursery rhymes can be unbearable…
but the BBC have some lovely playlists. You can
find medleys by theme or length; I recommend
