COMMITTEE ELECTIONS
AT CONFERENCE
Elections are being held at Conference
for five places on each of the following
committees:

Complete and return the nomination form by close
of nominations at 20.00 on Friday 22 October 2021.
Nominations can be submitted by email:
ero@greenparty.org.uk or in person at Conference
to the SOC desk.
Campaigns Committee
Standing Orders Committee

Disputes Resolution Committee
Equality & Diversity Committee
Conferences Committee
Green World Editorial Board
The supporting statement on the second page
has a 300-word limit and should fit into the
space given and be in 14pt whether typed or
handwritten. Statements will be made available to
members both electronically and on the information
board at Conference on Saturday prior to hustings.
In addition, there is one place available on
Disciplinary Committee for a two-year term.
Job descriptions for these committees can be found
in the relevant sections of the Constitution or the
Standing Orders for the Conduct of Conference. The
relevant texts are also reproduced in the nomination
form which you can download here or pick up a paper
version from the SOC desk.
Hustings
Hustings will be held at the venue (but with
an option to view and take part online) on
Saturday 23 October at lunchtime.
Voting
Rules and deadlines
Voting will open after the hustings and will be
open to all those registered for conference. Voting
can be done online or in person at the SOC desk
at Conference (until 19.00 on Saturday, and
from 10.00-13.30 on Sunday).
• Candidates need two proposers
• Candidates and proposers must be
current members of the Party
Proposers should have been members for at least one
year and must either complete the relevant section of
the form or e-mail the ERO to confirm their support
Voting will close at 13.30 on Sunday 24 October.
