Swing low, sweet chariot....
When the Lord come walking in the shadow of the evening, open up the
gates of Heaven! Oh Lord!
Oh Lord!
Oh Lord! The gates
are open wide..
Open up the gates Lord! Open up the gates Lord! Open up the gates Lord!
The gates are open wide!
May the circle.......
This is another very early Gospel song written with Wesley Stephens. It needs to
be positive and ‘up’ and it should be fun too. A proper Praise song.
We often sit ‘ Swing low sweet chariot’ in the middle and play it out too at the
end with a few verses of ‘May the circle be unbroken’.
