the White Stone - Page 66

the White Stone
page 66
torm the gates of Eden
I read it through
and sealed it with a tear.
As much a tear of sadness
as of joy.
Who will light a fire for the human race?
I will.
So burdened down
with the fuzz of rampant stupidity
we wander and stumble...
Why is it so hard to wake up?
I will light a fire....
I will light it for all the kindness and love
that we have and give to one another,
our never ending sense of hope,
how we pull together,
how we howl at the blood red moon
and refuse .....
as the passage of sand and time
falls softly through our hands,
to wake up.
