Today’s route came to us courtesy of our Bulgarian rally supremos Damien Kirov and Victor Plachkov. These
guys know the roads around here and gave us a great day’s motoring with some challenging Regularities and
a fantastic closed road Test all utilising sections used by the big boys in the Bulgarian Rally Championship.

car they could drive, with 32 TV channels and a broadband
package all rolled into one simple 12 month contract!
There was still some tinkering required to get the car
totally match fit but, with all four sweeps under the bonnet,
Roy Stephenson and Mark Bramall rejoined us at the lunch

The day began however, with some drama in the car park,
with something of a miracle occurring last night after we’d
gone to press. A local rally fan, whose day job was a TV
repairman, had been touched by the plight of the Mustang
which needed some work doing to the car’s ignition system.
Alas the hoped for big box of sparks hadn’t materialized,
but our man in Plovdiv had a soldering iron and wasn’t
