Suffolk Owl Sanctuary is dedicated to the rescue and
rehabilitation of injured wild owls and other birds of prey.
We maintain a specialist raptor hospital and veterinary
service support that offers shelter, medication, surgery and
respite for the wounded, mal-nourished, poisoned and
otherwise traumatised birds that come into our care with
the aim of releasing them back to the wild, fit and flying
free. We also operate a network of nearly 300 wild owl
next boxes is association with the Thornham Owl Project
to provide safe and secure roosts for threatened species to
replace natural breeding sites which are diminishing under
the encroach of man.
