Since 1978 The Country Trust has been working with
supporters and farmers to bring food, farming and the
countryside alive for disadvantaged children. Every year
we work with around 20,000 children - children from
disadvantaged areas, children with Special Educational
Needs and Disabilities and children facing other
challenges that limit their opportunities. We do this
through three key programmes: Farm Discovery day visits
to real working farms and estates, Countryside Discovery
residentials and Food Discovery programmes. Our
programmes build confidence, resilience, self-esteem and
knowledge about a wider world. Please consider helping us
to give more children transformational experiences.
