Brain tumours are indiscriminate; they can affect anyone
at any age. What’s more, they kill more children and
adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer yet just
1% of the national spend on cancer research has been
allocated to this devastating disease. We are determined
to change this.
Giving in memory for Brain Tumour Research will
bring us closer to the day when no other family has
to lose a loved one to this devastating disease. Funds
generously donated by families and friends will support
world-class research scientists at our UK Centres of
Excellence and help us influence the Government and
larger cancer charities to invest more nationally.
Together we will find a cure.
Registered charity numbers 1153487 (England and
Wales), SC046840 (Scotland). Company limited by
guarantee number 08570737.

Breast Cancer UK
One in Six of us has a neurological condition. When
the brain changes, we change. When it is struck by a
tumour, an injury or a disease, the consequences can
be devastating. To achieve the greatest impact Brain
Research UK concentrate research funding on areas
where the need for funding is most urgent, and where
we believe there is a realistic chance of patient benefit in
the medium term.
In memory donations are a positive way to celebrate
the life of a loved one and helps to ensure funding of vital
research to discover the causes, develop new treatments
and improve the lives of those affected by neurological
conditions, to help people live better, longer.
