Each year thousands of people are diagnosed with
Multiple Sclerosis, for many effected by MS a cure is the
most important goal, however, we are also aware that
people want more effort focussed on effective treatments
for MS symptoms, especially those for which there is
little help at present.
MSRTE is a charity dedicated to understanding
MS, developing better treatments and seeking a cure.
A donation to MSRTE in memory of a loved one can
be a way of celebrating their life and will make a real
difference to the lives of those continuing their struggle
with MS.
Thank you.
Motor neuron disease is currently incurable and the
average life expectancy is between one and three years.
Our vision is a world free of MND. The only way
this will be possible is through investing in the best
scientific research. Our founder, former Scotland and
British Lions rugby player Doddie Weir, was diagnosed
with MND in late 2016 and died in November 2022.
He set up My Name’5 Doddie Foundation to bring hope
to the thousands of people living with MND, and to
continue relentlessly searching for effective treatments
and a cure. We believe MND is not incurable, it’s just
underfunded. By choosing to support the foundation in
memory of your loved one, you will be offering hope to
all those diagnosed in the future and helping us deliver
Doddie’s legacy.

Help fund pioneering
lung health research
We know lung conditions impact everyday life and can change families forever. But sadly,
lung health doesn’t receive anything like the research funding it desperately needs.
We want there to be no stone unturned when it comes to finding a treatment, cure or a better
way to diagnose and manage lung conditions. That’s why we fund the best science and brightest
minds in lung health research.
Your donations in memory of loved ones mean that we can keep supporting world-class
research into conditions like IPF, asthma, COPD, mesothelioma and bronchiectasis.
