After a long career in the fashion industry West Malling based designer Roni Lang decided to
channel all her creativity, experience and passion for antiques and vintage finds into restyling
and recreating vintage and army jackets. “It’s about taking on something casual and giving it
a sense of grandeur; with a modern edge,” she says. Inspired by and driven by sustainability,
Roni creates beautiful new pieces from old, re-purposing and re-making them into a keepsake
With her contemporary twist on camouflage, denim jackets and vintage velvet blazers, the
customising queen, MRS LANG is a label you need to know if you’re looking for an investment
piece that will truly stand-out from the crowd.
Roni has very generously customised and donated a bespoke piece for the Art of Kent
auction; with her jackets traditionally named after strong women she has named her creation
“Cicely” after Dame Cicely Saunders, the founder of the modern-day hospice movement.
