West Malling based artist Trevor Hartley has always enjoyed painting and was fortunate to be
taught by renowned artist Donald Pass, a British painter whose art has been compared to that
of William Blake.“Through his guidance I have used my creative imagination to portray the
array of beautiful scenery around us,” says Trevor.
Working in his favourite mediums of acrylics and watercolours Trevor’s travels have enabled
him to capture the magnificent landscapes and seascapes of Kent that he has encountered.
He finds his inspiration from everywhere and is a particular fan of big skies, water and
reflections of which are clearly depicted in the artwork “Autumn Rain” Trevor has kindly
donated to the auction.
