East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH)
Giving care to life-threatened children and young
people – and providing support for their families.
Our care and support includes nursing care, symptom management, short breaks, wellbeing activities,
therapies, counselling and practical volunteer services in the family home.
Families receive their care and support where they choose, at home, in hospital or at one of our
three hospices.
Our hospices aren’t just about end of life care; they’re often very happy and fun places, where young
people can live life to their full potential. They are places where families feel safe, at home and where
they can spend quality time together; enabling parents to be parents not caregivers.
EACH relies on voluntary donations for the majority of our income and we need to raise over
£6 million from fundraising alone each year.
Just before the latest national lockdown, we forecasted a loss of £1.7m in funding over the
next 12 months - almost a third of the total we need to support families across East Anglia.
For those accessing care and those who have been bereaved, EACH is a lifeline at an unimaginably
difficult time.
