Emma Thompson
‘Mary Poppins’ Umbrella
Emma Thompson’s ‘Mary Poppins’ Umbrella from the Movie ‘Saving Mr.
Banks’, given to her upon completion of filming.
The Movie ‘Saving Mr. Banks’ is centred on the development of the 1964
film ‘Mary Poppins’. Emma Thompson stars as the author P.L. Travers
and Tom Hanks as film producer Walt Disney.
As dreamed up by author P.L. Travers, ‘Mary Poppins’ arrived with the
umbrella, carpetbag and starched white apron familiar to many more
millions from the Disney film that would come later. The ‘Mary Poppins’
umbrella is perhaps one of cinema’s most iconic items.
Emma Thompson is one of Britain’s most acclaimed actresses and is
the recipient of numerous accolades, including two Academy Awards,
a Primetime Emmy Award, three BAFTA Awards and two Golden Globe
Awards - and also a screenwriter, author, comedian, and activist for
change. Amongst her many credits are ‘Howard’s End’, ‘Remains of the
Day’, ‘In The Name of the Father’, ‘Sense and Sensibility’, and the ‘Harry
Potter’ movie series.
A UK delivery charge will be added to winning bids appropriate to the size and value of the item.
Additional delivery locations and special delivery requests can be arranged at additional cost.
Whilst we endeavour to ship winning items as quickly as possible, due to COVID restrictions, we cannot guarantee Christmas delivery.
