Griff Rhys Jones
Folk Art Casket
One of a kind ‘Folk Art’ Casket. Presented to Griff when filming a
documentary on location on Accra in Ghana. It is a bespoke creation
by ‘Hello Caskets’ of Ghana, and a rare example of ‘African Folk Art’.
It has been on exhibit at the Sainsbury’s Art Gallery in Norwich.
This could appeal to a collector or equally to someone thinking of
exhibiting it themselves... or even eventually occupying it themselves.
This a substantial item, and as such delivery will need to be arranged
with the buyer at their cost.
Griff Rhys Jones is an accomplished comedian, writer, actor, television
presenter, champion of architecture ancient and modern and general
all round Good Thing.
Griff first came to national attention in the 1980s for his work in the

‘Alas Smith and Jones’. With Mel Smith, he co-founded the television
production company Talkback Productions, now part of RTL Group,
and later in 2005 he started the production company Modern Television.
From 2008 to 2016, he presented the television bloopers show ‘It’ll be
Alright on the Night’ for ITV.
A UK delivery charge will be added to winning bids appropriate to the size and value of the item.
Additional delivery locations and special delivery requests can be arranged at additional cost.
