the Irish Writers Centre.
Bualadh BOSton is a literary festival
that brings together some of Ireland’s
finest contemporary writers in
historic Boston. This year’s events
included Alice McDermott & Mike
McCormack, Mary Cregan in
conversation with Catriona Crowe
and Peter Fallon & Aifric MacAodha
(tying in with Calling Cards, a copublication between Poetry Ireland
and The Gallery Press).
Maureen Kennelly, on behalf of
Poetry Ireland, moderated an
event with Marie and Catherine
Heaney and Stephen Rea for the
Irish Embassy, London, as part of St
Brigid’s Day.
