LUAL 2023 Order of Service - Flipbook - Page 2
Thank you for joining us for our annual Light up
a Life service. We would also like to welcome
everyone watching in the comfort of their
own homes.
Whether you are a regular supporter or new to the Phyllis
Tuckwell family, we welcome you all warmly to this event and
hope that you will find comfort and enjoyment in this evening.
This traditional gathering gives us all a chance to reflect and
remember those who are no longer with us, but are never
forgotten. Each light on our virtual Christmas tree represents
and celebrates the life of someone who is much loved and
missed.
We may have moved the location of the service but our
message remains the same. In the same way that the location
of our Hospice has temporarily moved, but we are still providing
the same quality care at our temporary In-Patient Unit and
continue to support people in their own homes and at the
Beacon Centre.
To see the names of those who have been remembered,
please turn to the Book of Remembrance that follows this
Order of Service.
Following the service, the names of those who have been
remembered in our Book of Remembrance will be projected
here on the outside of Guildford Cathedral, the names will be
displayed until 10.30pm tonight.
With our best wishes for a peaceful and happy festive season,
and with grateful thanks for your support,
Sarah Church
Chief Executive
