Jubilant Year for Sixth Form students
Students and staff at Queen’s Park High
School are once again celebrating
outstanding A Level results for students
whose educational experience has been
impacted by Covid over the past two years,
but who have shown positivity, resilience and
determination in all they have done,
achieving outcomes which are a true
testament to this. The school is delighted
that the percentage of students achieving A*
and A grades has trebled since students last
sat formal A level exams and the number of
students achieving grades AAB or above has
increased by 15% since then.
There are countless examples of individual
success to celebrate but a special mention
must be given to the following students:
Rory J, who having achieved 4 A* grades in
Chemistry, Physics, Maths and Further
Maths takes up a place at the University of
Manchester to study medicine. Eirinn M,
achieved 3 A*s and 2 As, whilst her peer
Tyler G has achieved 3 A*s and 1 A, both will
be taking up a coveted degree
apprenticeship in Engineering at Airbus.
Congratulations to, Kiara P achieving 1 A*
and 4 A grades, who goes on to study
Architecture at the University of Dundee, Ceri
R who will attend the University of Chester to
study Community Policing and Criminal
Investigations with 2 A*s, 1 A and 2 Bs and
