QPHS Spring Term 2024 magazine - Magazine - Page 7
After what has been a tough 3 years
in education, the hard work and
determination shown by the class of
2022 has paid off! They have gained the
grades they deserve, which will now
open the door to their next stages in
education or employment.
The class of 2022 are now members of
the QPHS Alumni and I wish them
continued future success and happiness.
Mr Kearns, Headteacher
Year 13 Class of 2022 - Celebrating success and their next steps!
Looking beyond the headline grades, there
are numerous stories of students who
have overcome personal challenges to
achieve the grades required to either
access higher education, take up
apprenticeships or successfully move into
employment. We are equally proud of the
students who joined us from other schools
for the Sixth Form, having been offered a
place here based on individual merit and
potential, and who have then gone on to
exceed their own targets and expectations.
These students will be leaving Queen’s
Park High School to achieve their ambition
of studying at University, further
emphasising the holistic approach that the
school adopts towards its young people.
We look forward to hearing about all our
students’ future successes.
I am delighted for all of our
students and immensely proud
of each of their achievements.
They have embraced the
challenges thrown at them and
committed themselves to
online learning, hard study and
engagement in all aspects of
school life. Their efforts and
resilience has enabled them to
go on to apprenticeships,
careers and further study but
they will always be a part of
the Queen’s Park family.

Head of Sixth Form
