About the Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe
Saturday 5th October - Sunday 6th October 2019
After a $145 million facelift, ParisLongchamp Racecourse will host Europe's richest race, the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe again in 2019. The prestigious race has
been held at leafy Longchamp since the days of Napoleon III more than 150 years ago, and after a two-year residency at Chantilly two years ago, it returns for
its second year back at ParisLongchamp.
The new four-storey grandstand opened in time for the 2018 event offers 360 degree panoramic views of the city of Paris and is a fantastic vantage point to
take in Europe's most prestigious horse race.
The winner of the "Arc", a one-and-a-half-mile test of speed and stamina for three-year-olds and above, will earn five million euros, making it the richest race
in Europe.
In 2018 Enable won her second Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe in a row and 2019 will see her go in search of an unprecedented third success!
