• Management fees for Riverstone’s head office support services, including human
resources, finance and legal
• Carrying out safeguarding checks on all staff who work on site
• Training for on-site team
We do not include the cost of these services in the Membership Fee. This means you pay
for these services as and when you need to. The Good Care Group at Riverstone’s prices
are only available to Riverstone residents at or below market prices. Our client advisers
can provide price lists. You can, of course, choose a different care provider if you wish.
If we’re ever unable to provide a service covered by the Membership Fee, we would
always let you know and aim to make other arrangements.
The Good Care Group at Riverstone cannot provide nursing care, but this may be
arranged through GPs and District Nurses.
What is not included within the Membership Fee?
Costs of the normal running of your apartment are not included in the Membership Fee.
The Membership Fee does not cover certain on-demand services such as:
• Care and well-being packages. Please ask our client advisers for a copy of the

• Lifestyle and concierge services (including apartment cleaning, laundry services,
chauffeur services, spa treatments and fitness classes)
• Dining and drinking in our restaurant and bar. You will have the benefit of a member’s
discount across all our locations
Before reserving a property, prospective residents aged 65 or over have to attend
a health and well-being assessment with The Good Care Group at Riverstone. The
assessment is free of charge and is designed to make sure that Riverstone is the right
place for you. It also allows for The Good Care Group at Riverstone to check there is
no risk to your and other residents’ health, safety and well-being. If the assessment
shows that Riverstone Kensington is not suitable for you, Riverstone may decide not to
complete the reservation.
As part of this assessment, The Good Care Group at Riverstone will provide a
personalised health and wellness plan. This will include suggestions and advice
about your exercise, activity, nutrition, health, emotional and medical needs.

The Good Care Group at Riverstone will also provide you with an optional health
and well-being assessment free of charge every year.

complete peace of mind. At Riverstone, the support to help you stay independent and

the highly regarded home care provider, The Good Care Group.
You will pay the following ongoing running costs of your apartment:
All Riverstone residents can make use of The Good Care Group at Riverstone’s care
services. You can choose anything from 30-minute slots to 24-hour live-in care, all in
the comfort of your own home. You can access as little or as much help as you need,
depending on how your needs change over time. Please see The Good Care Group at
Riverstone booklet for more information.
• Utilities – paid direct to the energy and service providers. Insite Energy is the only
provider of hot water, heating and cooling at Riverstone Kensington via a Combined
Cooling Heat and Power (“CCHP”) system. All residents have to use this.
More information on the CCHP system, Insite Energy’s price lists and customer
agreements are available from our client advisers. Residents are free to choose their
own electricity supplier
• Council Tax – paid direct to The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea local authority
• TV Licence – paid direct to TV Licensing
• Telephone – paid direct to your chosen supplier
