How would you describe the hospitality services at Riverstone?
We see the hospitality services as an integral part of the lifestyle offering at Riverstone
Kensington. Our friendly and experienced concierge team will be on site 24/7 to help
all residents feel safe and secure at all times. This is very important for us. They will be
on hand to help with booking theatre tickets, recommending restaurants, helping with
deliveries and valet parking. They also provide IT support and the emergency call response.
Is Riverstone a care home?
No, Riverstone is not a care home. You will have the independence of owning your own
apartment. Better still, you’ll be part of a retirement living community that offers a range
of high-quality services and amenities to you and your guests.
We know that staying well and maintaining independence is a priority and we want
our residents to have complete peace of mind. That is why we have chosen to partner
with the highly regarded home care provider, The Good Care Group. They are there to
provide home care should you want it but you can, of course, choose a different care
provider if you wish.
Will I have access to care at Riverstone Kensington?
Our partnership with The Good Care Group means you have access to high quality
24/7 care. This can be tailored to match your changing needs in the comfort of
your own home, should you need it. Please note, care costs are not included in the
Membership Fee and are paid for separately. Please ask our client advisers for a copy
of The Good Care Group at Riverstone booklet for more information.
There might be exceptional circumstances where the available care is unable to ensure
your health, safety and well-being. As an example, this might include where nursing
care is needed and cannot be arranged through GPs and District Nurses. Riverstone will
always work closely with you, your family members and medical practitioners to find a
solution that is in your best interests.
Does the Membership Fee cover my household contents insurance?
No, the Membership Fee does not include home contents insurance. You will need to
arrange this yourself.
Is accommodation available for friends and family?
We do not offer separate accommodation for visitors, but family, grandchildren,
great-grandchildren and friends alike are of course all welcome! They can stay in your
apartment and can use the amenities at Riverstone Kensington. Each visitor can stay up
to 100 days per year. Please ask our client advisers for a copy of the Lease Summary for
Can I live in my apartment for only part of the year?
