OUR COURSES
LEVEL 3 EARLY YEARS
EDUCATOR APPRENTICESHIP
COURSE INFORMATION
The Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship enables
learners to work with and care for children from birth to 5
years and gain knowledge of children aged 5 to 7 years. The
Early Years Educator Apprenticeship Standard is designed for
“highly-trained professionals” working with children to ensure
they are safe and healthy and develop learning skills in line
with the Early Years Foundation Stage as set by Government
for the learning, development, and care of children from birth
to 5 years old.
Throughout the programme, many different types of
assessment will take place; during the initial assessment the
learner will combine self-reflection with a discussion with
their tutor to ascertain where their starting point on the
course will be. Learners will be assessed on programme via
recorded
voice
discussions,
observations
of
practice,
reflective accounts, witness testimonies completed by the
employer, written assignments, teaching, and learning, and
written and oral questions in tests/exams.
