At St Elizabeth9s College, each young person will have the opportunity to live and learn in a fully
inclusive, safe and nurturing environment where differences are acknowledged, respected and valued –
where abilities are recognised and achievement is celebrated.
We are committed to supporting our learners to develop an understanding, through the demonstration of
our behaviours and action, of our Christian and British Values. Our Catholic ethos is evident throughout
College life, embedded into the curriculum and delivered through many of our lessons and experiences.
The College offers a comprehensive programme over a three-year period, which develops learners9
independent living skills; provides extensive work-related learning and work experience opportunities;
and focuses on relevant English, mathematics and ICT skills. We offer a wide range of vocational and
work placements, as well as regular trips to the local community to take part in social and leisure
activities through long established community links. The College works under external accreditation
which underpins the curriculum, but does not drive it. Our aim is to enable each learner to achieve their
individual goals and potential.
