Future Strategy & Structure
The focus of the Charity will be the educational support of children
and young people on site in Much Hadham. It is also our intention and
aspiration to also grow our services for adults, by expanding our offsite Supported Living provision. To do this we are modernising our
offer, and all future adult services will move to community settings
offering positive life experiences for adults with complex needs in their
own tenanted homes.
The structure of the organisation has been streamlined at all levels to
re昀氀ect the organisation’s new service footprint.
The 5-year Strategic Plan remains the key focus as it targets the
following:
Robust operating model
Respected provider of choice
To be the respected provider of choice and
market leader, centre of excellence
initially in the South East, for
people of all ages with learning
disabilities, epilepsy and
other challenging health
conditions.
Ensure a robust operating model that delivers a consistent and
sustainable 昀椀nancial surplus. Focus on growing and developing
services for children and young people on our rural campus
setting that is an ideal location for our services. We
also aim to grow our adult services too following
the restructure of the Charity and closure of
the Adult Homes in November 2022. Our
strategy is to grow community based
supported living services for adults
by working in collaboration with
well-established housing
providers.
Modern business intelligence
Property upgraded
Modern integrated systems and a
developed business intelligence function.
Respected brand
A respected, recognisable,
brand, supported by effective
communications that engages
the widest possible audience.
The on-site property portfolio will be signi昀椀cantly
upgraded. Capital expenditure will be managed on
a priority basis to include utilities, 昀椀re safety and
infrastructure. We recognise that fundraising will be
integral to the success of these projects.
Be a leading
employer
Promote excellence, pride, continuous
improvement and personal growth.
Offer ethical pay scales. Retain and
develop our valuable staff.
