KEELE UNIVERSITY TO
HOST prestigious
COMPUTING
CONFERENCE.
Keele University has announced that it has been
chosen to host the prestigious Human Computer
Interaction (HCI) conference by the British
Computer Society (BCS) – The Chartered Institute
for IT.
The international conference which is now in its
33rd year, is due to take place from 6 to 10 July
2020 and will be using Keele’s recently opened
Smart Innovation Centre.
This year’s conference has a ‘Future Interaction’
theme – highlighting the future interactive
challenges and opportunities for how computing
can improve sustainability, education and health.

Specifically for our local businesses, the conference
will have an ‘Industry Day’ on Tuesday 7 July 2020
and the organisers will shortly be announcing an
outline programme of talks and workshops.
Organisations also have the opportunity to sponsor
the event in a variety of ways.
