manufacturing
forum relaunches.
Staffordshire Chambers' Manufacturing Forum has
re-launched.
The role of the group is to provide a platform
for members involved in manufacturing and
engineering, to network, share information and
best practice.
Group events will take place at least once a month
and will be a mix of site visits and information
seminars. A manufacturers conference is also
planned for Spring 2020.
Forum chairman, Dave Woolrich, said
“Manufacturing is a big part of our local economy
and we have a diverse range of excellent,
local, national and international companies in
Staffordshire including, ceramics, automotive,
construction, electronics, engineering and food and
drink to name just a few.
The Staffordshire Manufacturing Forum will also
provide representation on behalf of these members'
interests to the Local Enterprise Partnership, local
authorities, government departments, the British
Chambers of Commerce, Ministers, MPs, and other
relevant bodies.
Dave added, "With the knowledge, expertise
and contacts that the Forum has access to, the
opportunity to recreate and improve on our events
and influence is a very real prospect”.
For more information on the group should contact
Tom Nadin at the Chambers on 01782 202222 or
