As an employer, you will know the advantages of
employing apprentices and what they can bring to
your business. And you have told us that you want
to do more for your young, new talent to help them
develop their own networks and the skills they will
need to further their careers and your business.
Staffordshire Chambers have created a new
network, NexGen, which offers opportunities to
young apprentices, enabling them to develop both
interpersonal and professional skills. This enhanced
competency enables them to perform better in
their roles and provides them with the support they
require to progress.
NexGen is a series of innovative CPD workshops,
coupled with social sessions amongst like-minded
individuals, to support apprentices with developing
their own local, strong networks and skills. The
programme of workshops will cover areas such
as basic presentation skills, Meet the Leader
interviews, understanding your character and
learning styles, business communication skills,
dealing with difficult feedback and more.
