Mr Roger Banks, Relax Kids Coach said:
"Children's mental health is of the utmost importance,
now more than ever. It is, therefore, essential w e give
them the skills they need to understand and manage
their emotions and thoughts.
Our coaching w ill help them develop their self-belief as
w ell as understand their moods and emotions, enabling
them to confidently managing stress and anxiety.
Projects like "I L ove Me" should be w elcomed as they
are essential if w e are to empow er our children to
learn life-long coping strategies and techniques which in
turn w ill see their confidence and self-esteem grow."
In addition to the school-based elements of the project,
online resources will also be available for the whole school
community to access. Information will be made available
on www.stanleylearningpartnership.co.uk that can be
accessed anonymously providing more help and advice.
Tailored specifically for our children and their families, it
will encourage continuous learning and give visitors
confidence that there is someone in their school that
they can turn to for help and guidance.
Whilst ‘I Love Me’ will begin in early 2021 and is
specific to Greenland, anyone with any worries or
concerns about their child’s mental health should contact
their Headteacher in the first instance. They will offer
support and guidance as to the best way we can work
together to find the support needed.
