HE third leg of
Hagans Croft’s fiveweek dressage league
got underway on
Saturday, February
18 with dressage competitors
descending upon the venue
to take on the Intro to
Elementary classes on offer.
The first class of the day
was the Intro test, where a
Pony Club test was ridden
by a total of six competitors.
Everyone in this class was
guaranteed to come home
with a rosette, but it was
a winning day for Violet
Campbell and ‘Jet’, who
took home the red ribbon,
followed by Eilis Donnelly
and ‘Sally’, who took home
the blue ribbon for all their
efforts.
It was a hat trick for Abbie
Cummins and ‘Cassie’, who
placed first in the Newcomers
class for the third week in a
row. The pair even achieved
their highest score to date
- 82.25%! Abbie and ‘Cassie’
put in the hard work during
the week and it certainly is
paying off with red ribbons!
