ONNELL Hill (Randalstown) hosted
a Northern Ireland Festival Qualifier
Working Hunter show on Saturday,
which saw huge talent at this early
stage of the year, with all horses
and ponies extremely well groomed and
turned out and all riders tremendously well
presented to the judges.
This in turn presented a huge task to the
judges, Ryan Anderson, assisted by Laura
Ferguson and Patrick Traynor, making their
placings. Young horses and, indeed those
getting back into work, took all in their
stride, meeting fences which consisted of
show jumping, rustic and portable fences
with minor obstacles, upon which they were
judged on style, conformation, movement,
ride, manners, turnout etc.
The high standard of turnout and showing
offered photographer, Lyndon McKee, some
great photogenic and action shots throughout
the day, making this a most enjoyable show
for everyone.
Connell Hill would like to thank Ryan
Anderson assisted by Laura Ferguson and
Patrick Traynor, arena crew, photographer
Lyndon Mckee, staff, riders, owners and
grooms, all for making this a most enjoyable
day and wish all those who qualified every
success for the Festival, and look forward
to welcoming everyone back in the not too
distant future.
