Dressage at Home and
International league draws to
a close with great success
T
HE Dressage at Home team worked
day and night over the weekend of
February 5 to bring their competitors
the hugely anticipated final show and
league results. The results were close
at times and the scores from the final show at
the weekend made a few changes to the top
league placings. This goes to illustrate how
very little there was separating competitors
at times - those 0.5% and wee extra marks
really did make all the difference! In the final
show at the weekend, placings were again
tight, resulting in quite a few competitors
having ties.
Even for this final show of the league, the
Dressage at Home platform welcomed riders
joining them from all over the globe for
the very first time. It was also lovely to see
riders rejoining them after having a break or
recovering from injury.
The team at Dressage at Home were on cloud
nine watching the competitors strut their
stuff in the final and it was terrific watching
all of the riders progress week after week.
Company owner, Emma Hobson stated: “It
has been such a fabulous eight weeks of highly
contested placings! We have loved working
and getting to know all of the riders and their
wonderful horses. We cannot thank them
enough for choosing and supporting Dressage
at Home! We hope they’ve enjoyed riding our
tests and following us via our Instagram and
Facebook pages.
“Riders enjoy riding and competing with the
platform, as it’s beneficial for them and their
horses’ training. They get detailed feedback
at each show from handpicked listed judges
from all over the world! It’s great for keeping
riders feeling motivated, enjoying the sport
and getting to spend quality time with their
horses over the colder, darker months. There’s
no travelling involved, as riders compete from
the comfort of their own homes or yards. It’s
also stress-free, as there’s no need for plaiting
or show dress. It’s a win-win situation!”
Thanks go to to the terrific panel of judges.
They are all hand picked by the team for
their consistent, fair, encouraging marks and
comprehensive feedback. Their expertise
is invaluable and it’s lovely for riders to be
judged by judges from all over the globe, who
have a fresh and enthusiastic approach.
Over the next few days, the team at Dressage
at Home will be busy getting tremendous
Bluegrass prizes sorted, along with sashes
and three-tier trophy rosettes for the league
winners. Organisers wish to thank Bluegrass
Horse Feeds for being the company’s official
sponsor and providing the riders with such
brilliant feeding products and prizes!
There are already plans in the pipeline for
a new league to run over Spring and Summer.
Dates will be announced soon, so keep an eye
on the Facebook, Instagram and website for
