HSI grant awarded to
Balmoral Show

HE Royal Ulster Agricultural
Society (RUAS) is delighted to
announce that the Balmoral
Show was successful in
receiving funding from the
Horse Sport Ireland Breeding Grant
Initiative.
This vital funding stream will
support the newly titled ‘Balmoral
Star of the Future’ Performance Horse
Championship, sponsored by Gibson
Equine Haylage, by providing a €2,500
prize fund for breeders, owners and
riders across both the Five-Year-Old
and Six- to Eight-Year-Old classes.
Speaking about the grant, Vickie
White, RUAS commented: “We
are thrilled to have received the
support from Horse Sport Ireland
for the ‘Balmoral Star of the Future’
Performance Horse Championship.
The enhanced prize fund will
now allow us to recognise and give
something back to the breeders and
owners of the successfully placed
