Gold has been enabling farmers for over 10 years
to help manage their slurry. Easier management,
less crusting, less pollutants and improved
nutrient response are achieved through a very
simple application process.
“We will be demonstrating at the show how
simple it is to use and providing bespoke treatment
plans for each farmer. Last year we launched our
T-Day initiative to help farmers remember when

One such farmer was Brian McAuley form
Ballybogey, County Antrim. He explains how he
was unsure at first.
“I was always sceptical about treating slurry
and never thought it would work for me. I also
had reservations about how it should be treated.
However, when Richard McCaughan from Moores
Animal Feeds advised me I was surprised how
simple it was. I planned to put it in as soon as the
cattle were housed and simply poured it across
the tank through the slats.”
Over the next three months Slurry Gold got to
work and produced the results expected. “I was
pleasantly surprised when I went to work at the
tank,” enthuses Brian. “Normally I would be at the
tank for up to a week, this time it was half a day.
“The slurry was much easier mixed and I noticed
a big reduction in odours. It also appeared more
healthy and nutrient rich as it got into the ground
a lot quicker.”
Mark explains: “By calling with us you will
at least learn the potential slurry has for your
enterprise. Ninety-nine per cent of farmers all
work with slurry at some stage, so everyone can
benefit. It also has huge environmental potential,
so the general public will also be interested. We
