opportunities to
amateur, novice,
junior and advanced
riders, at his
fantastic facilities
at Lisbane Farm,
Saintfield.
Eric’s winter
schedule includes
three key aspects:
training, competing
and promoting local
amateur equestrian
sport.
TRAIN TO SUCCEED
Winter specialist
training is on the
fast forward at
Lisbane Farm, using
their all-weather
track facilities. The
track is a perfect
natural training
ground for horse
and rider to develop
fitness, balance and
confidence. The
range of informationrich terrains, allows
steady confidence
building or, with a
different approach,
it’s a challenge to the
best of riders!

Equestrian has
joined forces with a
team of accredited
coaches, focused on
developing riders’
understanding and
communication
with their horses, to
improve suppleness
and to enable more
effective riding
in all aspects of
equitation, who
will be available
throughout the
winter period.

COMPETING
Eric Pele will also
be hosting Jump
Cross competitions,
taking place on
the first Saturday
of every month
at Lisbane Farm.
These events are
kindly supported by
Kingsfield Haylage
and Leo Pele Farrier
Services, with
classes for all levels
- 60cm, 75cm, 90cm
and 1m. The Jump
Cross is run across
an all-weather track,
with a mixture
of cross-country
fences, show jumps
and other obstacles.
The course is
inviting and varied,
and the atmosphere
is always relaxed
and encouraging.
Eric’s aim is to
help equestrians
get through the
long winter, whilst
keeping themselves
and their mounts fit
and happy!
Hot food will
be available on
competition days.

‘Riding Club Jump
Cross Challenge’,
in partnership with
Gransha Riding
Club, which is open
to Riding Club
members from all of
Northern Ireland.
The Riding
Club Jump
Cross Challenge
is generously
sponsored by
Pilates NI Equimech,
Equivizor and Old
Manor Mill Saddlery,
Newtownards.
This challenge
event, will be run
in conjunction with
the Jump Cross
competitions on
the first Saturday of
every month. Riding
Club members are
invited to compete
in the 60cm and/or
75cm classes. These
two classes will
each have sections
for Riding Club
members, which will
be judged separately.
There will be
fantastic league
prizes, including
embroidered rugs,
vouchers and other
great rewards at the
final, with prizes
for both senior and
junior riders.
