BBC Good Food Show
returns to the Belfast
Waterfront on Friday,
Saturday and Sunday,
November 10-12, bringing
together some of the nation’s
favourite chefs, local food,
drink and artisan producers.

encouraging those who love
local produce as well as those
who would like to learn more
to visit this year’s show at the
Belfast Waterfront.
“This year’s BBC Good Food
Show Belfast is going to be
unmissable! World renowned
chefs John Torode, Michel Roux
Jr, Marcus Bean, The Hairy
Bikers and Nadiya Hussain will
be on hand to share cookery
tips, perform live cookery
demonstrations and sign
books,” said Rachel.
“So if you’ve always wanted to
meet and interact with one of
your favourite celebrity chefs,
now is your chance to do so!
“The Tasting Theatre,
hosted by Paula McIntyre
and presented by Discover
Northern Ireland, makes a
welcome return to the show,
but will not only feature
award-winning producers
this year but chefs from some
of Northern Ireland’s awardwinning restaurants,” she
added.

the latest news and highlights
and top picks for what not to
miss:
The Big Kitchen: This year’s
Big Kitchen line up features
new additions such as British
two-star Michelin chef at
the London restaurant Le
Gavroche, Michel Roux Jr, and
Nadiya Hussain, as well as
welcome return appearances
from the ever popular Hairy
Bikers and John Torode,
who’ll be doing live cookery
demonstrations throughout the
show. Booking is essential.

Eat Like a Local: BBC Good
Food’s unique ‘Eat Like a Local’
demonstrations will also take
place in the Big Kitchen theatre.
These sessions will showcase
home grown talent using the
best of Northern Ireland’s
produce to create inspirational
dishes. Local chefs will include
Stephen Toman, part owner
and chef at Michelin star
restaurant OX, Stephen Jeffers,
restaurateur and owner of
Forestside Cookery School, and
Chris Magowan, Michelin star
trained chef from Wine and
Brine, Moira. Eat Like a Local
is a free additional session
available to add to booking.
The Whisky Blending Lab:
New for 2017, The Whisky
Lounge will be hosting
whisky blending workshops
throughout the show. Visitors
will be able to taste and learn
about classic whiskies before
creating their own blend to
bottle and take home. Sessions
are priced at £10.
Taste the Greatness
Experience: Hosted by
Paula McIntyre, the Taste
the Greatness Experience,
presented by Discover
Northern Ireland, will give
food lovers the opportunity
to taste and learn from an
amazing line up of local food,
drink and artisan producers
showcasing their produce
as well as some of Northern
Ireland’s award-winning chefs.
A whole host of local producers
and restaurants, including
Eringrove Preserves, Armagh
Cider Company, Shortcross Gin,
Holmes Bakery, Coppi, Titanic
Hotel Belfast, and Deanes
Meatlocker will be featured
throughout the show. Tickets
cost £4 for producer sessions
and £5 for restaurant sessions.

The BBC Good Food Stage:
After watching the chefs create
mouth-watering recipes live on
stage, the BBC Good Food Stage
is the place for visitors to go to
get culinary queries answered
as Good Food’s Editor-at-large
Barney Desmazery invites
questions from the audience
and chefs reveal the secrets
of their success. Get up close
and personal with some of your
favourite chefs!
Pop Up Book Shop: Shop for
all the latest cook books, at the
Eason’s pop-up Book Shop. Plus
get your copy signed by the
chefs and experts. Book signing
sessions take place daily and
are open to all on a first come,
first served basis.
Entertainment and inspiration
aside, a visit to the show offers
a range of tasty eating and
drinking options throughout
the weekend including food-togo, the Good Food’s own popup restaurant, and delicious
street food.
Likewise, visitors can browse,
sample, chat and buy from local
producers at The Producers’
Village stands and The Food NI
Pavilion or get great deals from
big name cookery brands.
Food NI Pavilion: This year’s
Food Pavilion, presented by
Food NI, offers visitors to the
show a great opportunity
to discover and learn
more about the country’s
regional producers as well
as participating in samplings
and purchasing their favourite
wares to take home and enjoy
at a later date. The pavilion
is a must for foodies who
want to learn more about the
fantastic produce available
on our doorstep. Exhibitors
at this year’s show include
Tempted Cider, The Heatherlea,
Bushmills, Farmageddon,
White’s Oats and many more.
With the bonus news that
the Belfast Waterfront has
secured a licence ahead of this
year’s show, visitors will now
