undertaking
a year’s
placement with
Avara where
I’ll be given
six months’
experience in
the broiler unit
Erinn Ramsay
awarded a BPC Scholarship, in
association with Avara Foods.
The 20-year-old said: “The
scholarship will allow me
to continue my studies
away from home through
supporting accommodation
costs. It’ll also help me gain
experience and knowledge in
an area that I’m interested in.
“I’ll be undertaking a year’s
placement with Avara where
I’ll be given six months’
experience in the broiler
unit and six months in the
hatchery unit.”
After graduating from Harper
Adams, Erinn’s aspiration is to
continue working within the
poultry industry. Erinn is also
a continuing Alltech scholar.
Moycraig YFC member PAIGE McALISTER enjoys sports and is a
member of the club’s football and tag rugby teams. Paige lives on a
beef and sheep farm and has a job looking after horses.
