Meet the Team
Aisha Lysejko
Head of Employer Engagement
Aisha has centered her career supporting innovative, not-for-profit
organisations to scale their social impact, leading on Operations,
People, Culture and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. With a background
working with less-advantaged young people and nurturing early careers
talent, she is passionate about activating their lived experience as a tool
for change. Having personally experienced the systemic barriers faced
by underrepresented individuals when starting her career in the legal
profession, she brings those insights alongside an evidence based
approach to the design and delivery of our Changemaker work, helping
leaders and individual contributors alike to take practical action to
achieve transformative change.
Tom Slatter
Senior Impact and Insights Manager
Tom is an experienced educator who was formerly a teacher in south
London state schools before transitioning to the charity sector, working
with schools to run programmes focused on supporting young people to
achieve their full potential. He is also responsible for The Brokerage’s
impact work and is a keen advocate for the use of data and insight to
inform practice. Whether it is using national data as a benchmark, or
data about job applicants or existing employees, Tom is keen to help
companies understand how they can use such insights to improve the
workplace. Tom is passionate about social mobility and looks forward to
working with more companies to create real change in the workplace.
Jennifer Hien
Senior Innovation Manager
Jennifer has an extensive background in education and youth-focused
initiatives and currently oversees The Brokerage’s Academy strand;
working with The Brokerage’s corporate partners to support young
people as they transition from education to work and providing her with
insight she is able to feed in directly to our Changemaker work. Having
come from a low-income ethnic minority background herself, Jennifer
also understands the societal and institutional barriers faced by many
as they embark on their professional career and the importance of
underrepresented youth having a voice. Her lived experience is a driving
force behind her work where she strives to create more inclusive
workplaces where young people feel like they belong.
