Corporate Leaders' Forum
Our Corporate Leaders’ Forums (held 3-4 times each year) are an opportunity to discuss and share
challenges/best practice on key work-related issues facing your organisation, with regard to early
talent and diversity and inclusion. You will share a platform with other business leaders, HR and
diversity and inclusion representatives, providing a unique avenue for peer to peer networking,
learning and support. Recent Corporate Leaders’ Forums have covered topics such as supporting
young Black talent in light of the Black Lives Matter movement, hybrid-working and delivering a fair
and inclusive recovery in the wake of Covid-19.

Early Talent Line-Manager Training
We know that getting buy-in from line-managers and supervisers can often be one of the biggest
hurdles when it comes to creating inclusive workplaces. Managing a diverse team is challenging and
requires skills, self-awareness, empathy and insight and we can help harness these attributes in
your colleagues.
Via our Early Talent Line-Manager Training we will work with your organisation to share insight that
we have gathered from our young people and alumni over the past 25 years to deliver impactful linemanager/superviser training sessions. This will be targeted specifically for those working closely
with young talent in early careers and entry level roles (including Apprenticeships, Graduate roles,
training programmes and internships). Providing line-management expertise through the lens of
social mobility and ethnic diversity we will give your colleagues practical advice and tools so that
they can immediately implement the learnings from the training - providing the 'how' not just the
'why' of line-management best practice. We will also explore the issues of retention and
development of underrepresented young talent.
Topics covered include:
Understanding working class and ethnically minoritised young talent, including their overlooked
skills and attributes
Understanding what 'good' inclusive line management is
The Brokerage's Inclusive Line Management Principles - what they are and how to implement
them in your work
