Top of the class School Trips 2024
School trips are not only one of the
favourite activities of the school
calendar for students but also proof
that learning can be a lot of fun.
Whether practicing language skills
or learning about History or
Science, these are some of our top
of the class destinations for School
Trips 2024:
1- SCHOOL SKI TRIPS
A few days on the slopes, taking daily
lessons with professional ski instructors and enjoying apres-ski activities
are a lot of fun for school groups.
School ski trips are both a great bonding experience and a fantastic opportunity for students to be active and
improve their skiing technique.
2 – BARCELONA
There are many sides to Barcelona, the
capital of Catalonia:
From a cultural point of view students
can admire the iconic work of
Modernist architect Antoni Gaudí
across the city; while sports fans will
be delighted to visit the Camp Nou,
home of Barcelona FC. A school trip to
Barcelona can also be combined with
a fun day at PortAventura theme park.
It was here where the Large Hadron
Collider (LHC) was created in 2008 to
help scientists understand the
universe; and also where the very first
website went live in 1991.
3 – WWII BATTLEFIELDS
5 – ICELAND AND THE
NORTHERN LIGHTS
2024 will mark the 80th anniversary of
the D-Day landings and the Battle of
Normandy which took place in June
1944.
Many events will be organised across
Northern France, to remember this
chapter of Europe’s history. Normandy
is a superb location for students to
learn about the Second World War
and how the conflict shaped Europe.
4 – CERN: THE HOME OF SCIENCE
Located outside Geneva, the
European Organization for Nuclear
Research or CERN is a dream
destination for young scientists.
Hundreds of researchers have worked
in CERN, in the areas of particle
physics and computing, since 1954.
Iceland, the land of fire and ice, is one
of the best countries in Europe to
witness the Northern Lights. While the
phenomenon of the Northern Lights
is difficult to predict, the best time of
the year to travel is between
September and March.
Students will also be amazed by the
dramatic landscapes of the Golden
Circle and the Reykjanes Peninsula,
particularly its hot pools, lava
formations, volcanoes and spectacular
waterfalls.
