The learndirect Digital Group’s Animal Welfare
Faculty provides a more affordable route to
getting a degree-level qualification, be that
through a university programme or an
equivalent level course studied through the
learning provider itself.
• Applied Canine Behaviour Management
Diploma (RQF) Level 6
learndirect’s Level 3 animal qualifications recently
became eligible for UCAS Tariff Points, providing 8
- 48 points, meaning learners are now guaranteed
a helping hand in meeting degree entry
requirements.
Wayne Janse Van Rensburg, Group CEO,
learndirect Digital Group, said:
“The learndirect Digital Group is driven by the belief
that education should be accessible to everyone.
Now that more of our courses contribute to UCAS
Tariff Points, and other courses we provide deliver
a degree-level education, our learners have even
more options when it comes to choosing the route to
qualifying that suits them best. Our flexible payment
options also make these routes far more affordable,
so learners can still achieve their career goals in
trying economic times.”
The learning provider also launched a new Access
to Higher Education Diploma (Veterinary Science),
which helps aspiring Vets and Vet Nurses access
a veterinary science degree without A Levels.
By also offering up to Level 6 courses, equivalent
to a bachelor’s degree, learners can also choose
to avoid up-front tuition fees or hefty student
loans, and keep on the path to their goals without
breaking the bank.
Being able to begin these courses with a small
deposit and spreading the remaining cost
out into manageable monthly repayments,
learndirect’s animal course division is providing
a more affordable route into Higher Education.
A few of the advanced study programmes
learners can take include:
• Canine Welfare, Training and Behaviour Diploma
(RQF) Level 4
• Canine Behaviour Practitioner Diploma (RQF
Level 5
• Veterinary Physiotherapy with Hydrotherapy
Level 6 Diploma (RQF) – Part 1,2 and 3
• Combined Canine Behaviour Management
Diploma (RQF) Levels 3, 4, 5 and 6
