GET YOUR ENTRY PACK
If your pupils like drawing and you want to give your
school a chance to win £3,000 to spend on a project to
help the environment, then we have the perfect
competition for you.
All your pupils need to do is create a unique and
compelling design for a BRITA recycling bin that inspires
others to reduce, reuse and recycle to protect the planet.
BRITA is a company that helps reduce household
single-use plastic by encouraging bottled water drinkers
to ditch single-use plastic bottles for filtered water.
The competition is to celebrate the release of The Whale
Watchers book by McFly star Dougie Poynter. As well as
winning £3,000 for their school, the three students’
winning designs will appear on BRITA recycling bins
around the country for more details on how to enter.
To get involved with the competition simply email
GB20_WhaleWatchers@brita.net to request the templates
you’ll need to get started. We’ll also send you The Whale
Watchers teaching resources and a video of how the bin looks
so you can use it when creating the designs. Alongside
receiving the documents you’ll need via email, please advise
on the school or youth group address and we will send across
a copy of The Whale Watchers for your pupils to enjoy.
Entries to the competition, which can be scanned in once
completed, need to be sent back to
GB20_WhaleWatchers@brita.net by the 28th October.
Judging will takeplace from the 31st October
and a winners will be announced by the
