NAMA Vehicle Grading
NAMA vehicle grading is utilised at FLAG and gives buyers a thorough understanding
of each vehicle’s condition. All vehicles are assessed and graded by IMI qualified
vehicle appraisers trained to NAMA standards.
The vehicle may have:
Minor interior and exterior defects
that require SMART repairs, i.e.
minor scratches or dents. Minor
replacement parts may also be
required.
As Grade 1, plus:
1 major or minor bodyshop repair
to an individual panel or bumper. The
replacement of more significant
internal or external trim parts
(excluding panels) may also be required.
As Grade 1 & 2, plus:
Up to 5 minor body shop repairs, 3
major bodyshop repairs or a
combination of major and minor
repairs. May require 1 replacement
bumper but not 2.
As Grade 1, 2 & 3, plus:
A combination of repairs including a
replacement panel. Excludes structural
panels such as roofs and quarter
panels.
As Grade 1, 2, 3 & 4, plus:
A combination of repairs or the vehicle
may have sustained collision damage
where the replacement of up to 2
structural panels may be required
(providing there is no other damage
on the vehicle).
Vehicles in this grade are
simply uneconomical to
appraise and fall into one
of the following categories:
The vehicle with have either:
Substantial accident damage.
Major parts missing.
Multiple recorded items (exceeding
the criteria of Grade 5).
Multiple unrecorded items
All repairs and replacements will be recorded on the appraisal.
