The Paint Factory
Arts Village
Cultivating Brisbane’s
creative community
The Paint Factory’s next incarnation will once again cultivate
creativity in Brisbane. With creative workspaces, a diversity
of homes and a programme of celebrations and culture, the
precinct will inspire a new generation of Brisbane creatives.
Addressing two of the most pressing issues Brisbane currently faces,
the Village will preserve and revitalise this burgeoning arts community
while also providing much needed, high-quality housing.
Through architecture, landscape, programming and sustainability
initiatives, The Paint Factory Arts Village will be a magnet for the
local community, contributing to a richer neighbourhood profile,
improving and expanding local infrastructure and amenities, and
inspiring greater and better investment nearby.
The Paint Factory has already made a name for itself as a prominent
arts hub in south Brisbane, nurturing some of Australia’s most
renowned artistic talent. The unique benefits and outcomes made
possible by embracing and integrating these established and admired
arts practitioners and enterprises into the heart of a residential
development are far-reaching.
In the grounds of The Paint Factory Arts Village locals and visitors
alike will find new places to relax, explore, celebrate and learn.
As a new location for small events, pop-ups, markets and more,
it will honour its traditional role as a place of creation – in a thoroughly
modern, sustainable way.
Within the homes created here a community reflecting Brisbane’s
growing diversity and dynamism will emerge. Built to the highest
sustainability principles, surrounded by landscape and amenities themselves infused with artistic spirit - the Village will offer a
range of residences catering to a variety of households.
For a city with bold ambitions, The Paint Factory Arts Village will be a
unique creative and community asset that protects and supports creative
entrepreneurs in a new place were people can live, create and thrive.
