Ufton will minimise the spread of the disease through:
1.
2.
3.
4.
Continuing good hygiene practices
Social distancing, where possible
Regular and thorough disinfecting of surfaces touched by others
Other important measures put in place by Ufton
1. Good Hygiene Practices

Anyone —Ufton staff, contractor, visitor, private hire individual, education group
individual — who shows symptoms will be isolated and, if a child, parents/carers
will be required to collect them immediately. The child will be moved, if
possible, to a room where the door can be closed but with a window that can be
opened. If they need to go to the bathroom while waiting to be collected, they
will use a separate bathroom which will be cleaned and disinfected after they
leave Ufton. If they are not a child, individuals will be required to leave site
immediately
Everybody on site will be required to wash their hands much more often—with
soap and water for at least 20 seconds after they have blown their nose, sneezed
or coughed, eaten or handled food
Hand sanitiser will be available to school groups and to Ufton staff and they will
be asked to apply it often, especially when entering a building and following
contact with resources or surfaces
Hand sanitiser stations will be strategically placed at entry to key buildings
