Product Guidelines
and Criteria
DVLA Check
• Can be completed in cases where the Customer has a full
UK driving licence but cannot provide a copy
• All DVLA checks are completed by telephone, the
Customer will need to call 0906 139 3837 and leave
permission for Moneyway. For Northern Ireland driving
licences customer’s need to call 0845 4024000
• Telephone mandate service is open Monday to Friday
8.00am to 8.30pm and Saturdays 9.00am to 5.30pm (there is
no service for Northern Ireland driving licenses on a Saturday)
• We can also accept a copy of the online DVLA check,
or the customers drivers licence number and the check
code and we can complete the online DVLA check
Job Check
• Deals may be subject to a satisfactory job check.
The Customer may need to complete the Customer Job
DPA form to provide permission for their employer to
disclose the information to Moneyway
• If a customer is employed via an agency/on zero hour
contract for a minimum of 6 months, a job check will
be required to confirm contract status. If employed with
the same employer, through the agency, for this period
then the deal may proceed
Vehicle Clearance
• If the vehicle is showing on finance, this will need to be fully
cleared (not subject to) or removed from HPI before pay‑out.
Any clearance letters/faxes must show the VRN plus the make
and model, it must also be dated and display the reference
number to match the HPI report. We may contact the finance
company to confirm clearance.
